This is not InboxSift versus Superhuman versus Gemini. It is InboxSift versus the default experience most people actually have: one mixed list.
What Gmail already does well
Search, labels, spam, mobile apps, server-side mail. InboxSift should not pretend to host your archive. Emails remain in Gmail.
What the list fails at
Tabs (Primary / Promotions) are a blunt instrument. Plenty of Act mail is automated; plenty of Primary mail is Noise. Category tabs are not Briefing.

Use both
Live in the overlay for the first pass. Jump to Gmail for search, attachments, and anything the model got wrong.
Frequently asked questions
- Why not just use Promotions tab?
- Because Act is not “not marketing.” Bills, school mail, and human asks get lost when you trust tabs alone.
