InboxSift Smart Reply: a draft that has read the thread

Triage first. Draft second. Send stays in Gmail.

Most smart-reply chips guess from a snippet. InboxSift’s Smart Reply is meant for a thread you already opened because Briefing said it needs you.

When to use it

Use Smart Reply on Act items: confirm a time, answer a short question, acknowledge a request. Skip it on Noise. A draft for a newsletter is a waste of a model call and your review time.

What we send

If you tap Smart Reply, thread context goes to our generate APIs so a model can propose a body. That is email content leaving the browser, same class of processing as classification. We do not send the message for you.

Review is part of the product

AI drafts miss facts, tone, and whether you should reply at all. Read the thread. Edit the draft. InboxSift is not a send button.

How it fits Act / Know / Noise

Briefing tells you which threads are Act. Smart Reply is how you clear those faster. Know items often need no reply. Noise should stay out of the way.

Frequently asked questions

Is Smart Reply required?
No. Classification and Briefing work without it.
Does it learn my writing style from sent mail?
InboxSift’s core product is sorting, not personality training. Treat drafts as starting points and edit them.
